Hi all, I wonder if anyone knows of a local machine shop that does small and presice work.
I have an Electric motor that I want to install in my heli.
The shaft needs to be drilled and tapped so I can install a clutch.
Does anyone know of a good machine shop that will do that work for me?
The motor is very expensive and I want to make sure that it wont be damaged in the process.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Bill

I don't know one in particular, but if you do a Google search on
"machine shop Montreal" you may find one there that could do your work.
In the Google search don't forget to select the option "Pages from Canada"

Hope that helps.

LUC,
Thanks for the info, I found one close to me, I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Erik.
I don't know bro. This motor is worth 400 bucks and I hate to see it go up in smoke.
One slip of the drill and is caput.
Do they have a machineshop or they work from home?

Maybe you can ask him/them if the can do it.
I have to drill a hole in the center of the shaft and then tapp it with a 5mm tapp to accept 5mm bolt for the clutch. Tha shaft is 8mm. Is the Actro 32-4 motor.
Let me know if it can be done by them.

Cheers
