I have a balsa Vista glider from Tower Hobbies that is grossly overpowered. You cannot launch at full throttle because it goes straight up like a rocket. I was flying and wanted to gain altitude so I gave throttle and the electric motor, prop and spinner decided to part the airframe causing a tail heavy situation which resulted in a death spiral! After several trips into the jungle I found it on top of a tree relatively intact and was able to retrieve it using a broken branch. Upon inspection I noticed the motor mount(wood former) was gone. I guess the company in Vietnam was trying to save money on CA glue. I highly recommend adding some glue and balsa to reinforce the area that holds the motor as well as other areas that are under stress. Not doing this will cost about $100 to replace the motor, prop and spinner from Great Hobbies. Cheers
