Hello community, I will soon be traveling to my beloved Mexico and I want to take my DJI Mavic Air 2 with me, what recommendations can you give me to avoid problems with the security screening?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I'm not sure it would make a difference, but maybe it's not a bad idea to see about the return flight too.
See some links for the outbound flight:

Have a good holiday!

Awesome Florin! I found this interesting video in one of the links you shared. It seems like I need to take the drone as a piece of carry-on luggage, and that's it!

I hope someone else can share their experience of bringing their drone with them on an airplane.

I traveled a few times to contests in Europe and south America. The planes were in boxes in the cargo bay but the transmitter and the batteries were in my carry on. All connectors were taped and the batteries in original boxes. There is a maximum size of batteries allowed.
Twice, the airplanes didn't arrived at destination the same day as me. It wasn't the best way to prepare for a competition...
The box were oversize luggage so it may have been the cause of the delay. I had no issue on the way back which would have been less of an issue.
