For the first time this year, WIMAC held a spring fun fly last week-end. Despite the conditions, our members, living in their usual world of denial, made the best of our flying field and had a great day.

Humidity made the runway hard to negotiate, lots of power was required for take-offs.

There was a nice crowd, people milling about and doing the usual socializing,

As usual, food was served, and may thanks go to the cook who had to work and prepare in difficult conditions !

There was the inevitable crash, and resulting search party, but the plane was finally located, with the usual light damage caused by our outfield.

While the search was going on, visitors got to admire the runway display, which was impressive, with little or no room to move.
