OK I know absolutely nothing about FPV radio equipment. I want to buy a camera with audio for my plane along with goggles. I was wondering if any of you FPV experts can assist me with the products below. 1)Is the microphone included in the camera/transmitter unit below? 2) Can you plug it directly into the receiver for power? 3) Is this unit compatible with the goggles below? 4) Do these goggles have audio with which I can hear my motor? 5) What is the range and quality of the signal? 6) Can you record on SD card or computer?
You can respond or PM me. Thanks for your help!

Hi Michael, I recommand you better reception with diversity systems.

The cameras, I hhave this 1000tv lines and it gives me quite nice video.

Just added a transmitter of 600mw to be sure to get nice signal :

And I change the TX antena for better onmidircctional :

So this is my confiruration and i fly it many times with nice experiences.
I never needed to lissen to the engine with audio signal, ...

Thanks Mezri. I totally agree about the goggles. These are much better. I really need the audio for my edf jets. The transmitter you suggest has an audio output, but not the camera. Does the antenna help a lot?

The circular polarized antenna like the one Mezri posted do help. One on the RX and one on the TX, just make sure that they are the same polarization (left or right hand). Apart from the uniform radiation pattern that makes them insensitive to the relative orientation of the RX and TX, the other advantage is that they improve multipath issues (signals reflecting off some structure so that the RX receives two signals.) The polarization state is flipped at the reflection, so that the signal strength of the reflected signal is cut relative to the direct signal. More of an issue in an environment with buildings than at the field. Definitely superior to the little straight antenna normally delivered with the RX and TX by default.
Going to a diversity RX with one low gain omnidirectional and one high gain directional pointed towards the plane has some advantages for distance, but less of an issue for the style of flying I have seen you do where you tend to stay close in. Just having two omni directional antenna will help.

Just noticed an email from bangood for the eachine EV100 goggles at US$96 (73% off). I don't know anything about that model so do some research first, but the price is very interesting.

Thanks guys. Yup...One heck of a learning curve.
Mezri, ou est-ce que je soude le microphone?
Either or both Mezri and Andrew, the cloverleaf antenna is not as good as the circular antenna Mezri suggests?
