I was told once that guitar wires would work too but I haven't tried it. That maybe easy to found. There are different diameters too.

ur right xavier they are useful but i never tried them and i dont know if they can hold tension , coz the wire should be always under tension specially when cutting wing that they have a wide root and narrow tip
