Hi folks,
After receiving some excellent advice about a trainer aircraft and radio, am now ready to get to the field and launch. I have assembled a BNF Apprentice s 15e with a DX6e radio. I've read the good info in Beginner's Information and Flight Training Policy. I am free weekdays and weekends and would like to meet an instructor to take me through the paces so that I can get to the Solo stage(maybe before the snow flies?!). Is anyone available tomorrow to meet me at the field and look over my aircraft and get me going? Thanks..Doug

Hi Doug, Sorry for your missing call, I wasn't able to respond your massage, and I can not be in the club even tomorrow, Sunday 9,...:o
I hope that an other instructor can assist you, this weekend,...

Don't give-up training on simulator, it will shorten your period of dependence on an instructor...

Hi Doug,

Double check the wind forecast it may be a bit breezy for your trainer.

Hi Michael,
Thanks, I need still air for sure, at this stage just want to have the airplane checked out, I have a few questions etc. Can't actually fly today as the prop is broken and I have a few replacements on order. Generic grey replacements don't fit the prop shaft, so I will only be "airworthy" next weekend. Thanks for your comments, hope to see you soon.

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks a million for your help at the field today. First successful flight with the new airplane and my first successful landing in a VERY long time. Can't wait to fly again soon. Your flying club is excellent for beginners. Much appreciated. Doug

Doug, your dedication in the flight sim payed off. Lets keep progressing with the flight patterns, then we remove the flight stabilizer assistances, and you will have more authority over the airplane. You will have lots of fun.

Not bad wind. Constant, but not too strong. No gusts.
