Hi all,

I just joined today. I have many interests in modelling including gliders and control line.

I saw a thread regarding control line flying that I am interested in. I am a transplant to Quebec from the southern states. I used to fly PAMPA control line competition. But I did not find anyone here in Quebec flying CL when I arrived 8 years ago.

Is there much interest here? Do any model shops locally support CL?

Also I saw a reference to indoor flying? What are you flying indoors? I could definitely do rubber powered.

I have a friend in another club who fly CL sometimes. He was flying years ago with a few others who fly RC now.

Hi Erick,
First of all, welcome to the club.
I have been flying controline for a while. Never flew seriously enough to take part in any events. After a few years hiatus, I returned last year. You have seen my Brodak Oriental post.... I have a few cl models, both electrical and IC. Currently I am flying at a football field in a school near my place, but still trying to find a better spot to fly. Hopefully snow will eventually melt and flying season will be upon us....

Thanks for the response. When the snow melts, I will hang up the snow shoes and get out the motorcycle...and airplane.

I have an old Time Machine with .40 K&B set up for C/L. Now I need to get some lines, handle, fuel, battery, etc. I lost my kit long ago.
