Well a lot of us have had the oportunity to do the (Walk of Shame) to the woods to retreive an airplane and today was my turn even given the fact that I have flown the Apprentice many times without incident today was different. So now it sits high up in a tree....too high to retreive with our pole so the tree will have to secum to a felling. It's a small tree, about 2 1/2" diam. I was lucky to have Marcel Bastien there today to guide me back to the runway as I was headed in the wrong direction. If anyone is going to the field tomorrow please let me know so I can be guided back to the runway. TKS

Hello Wayne!
Got to the field around 3:30 pm for my second flight day of the year at Wimac. Great beautiful day!!! Now I understand why we haven't cross our path yesterday. Is the plane in a bad shape or will it be flying when we finally get to fly together in the coming weeks?
Take care!

Sorry about that. I should be there around 17:00. I`m watching the winds right now, they are still a bit strong. In what circumstances did the trees grab your plane? I'm to figure out if there's a pattern to these unfortunate circumstances.

Thanks for all the replies. Richard Piche was kind enough to lend a helping hand this morning....or should I say he did most of the work.....to retrieve the Apprentice. It was still in flyable condition with a few minor bruises but otherwise ok. It will take to the skies once again when conditions permit.
