Hi, Chris

If you have not renewed MAAC before you renew WIMAC, your status is "no flying" at WIMAC until you alert us that your MAAC has been renewed.

I have updated your MAAC status.

Je travail sur sa peinture, By the way DeSerres sold a very good water base spraypaint , perfect for EPO foame, with no deterioration of the material. https://www.deserres.ca/fr/

Great to hear you are working on a new project, Richard - look forward to seeing it in action.
We have some thread drift here - each time I see a posting pop up here, I think I have work to do on the database!

Is that the 46" wing span Twin Turbo Jet By Dynam? If so I can't wait to see it fly.

Yap, but I don't expect alot of performence from his power pack...I will have to use all my flaps flying knowledge to get out of troubles:D

The 3S 2000 mAh battery suggested seems very insufficient, will result in short underpowered flights and lipopuff. That plane has a lot of wing surface area and can use a much better batt/motor combo. I would go for a minimum 4S 2200 up to 2700 graphene or similar high C rating batt. I don't know if the stock motors can take it but the stock 40A esc should be fine. I fly all my 64 mm fleet with 4s and the same motor from Hobbyking: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hk2627-edf-outrunner-4300kv-for-64mm.html
The motor is cheap at $10 US, has great power and never let me down on 4S after hundred of hours of flight time.

Thank's for the advice Michael:) But I don't fell to invest in bigger lipo, and adding stress on the main wing. grears It's a 6 years old tech with crappy SL retracts. Plus, I still have to many 3s ready to be puff So' I will try the maiden with the stock power pack and with a graphene 3 cell 2200 mAh 45c for now . Just enough flight times to take off fly 2 min then call the control tower to clean up the run way for a emercency landing:D

I hear ya. In that case I would suggest the 3S Ready-to-puff option you mention.

Well I will maybe do a tiny upgrade on my Cessna citation...by passing from 6 blades rotor to 7 or 8 blades max. I guess and hope the stock motors and ESC could handling a bit more amps. But until now I have found nothing on the market for a 64mm edf unit...any clues or web link:)

Thank's for the link Mezri:) I have to cut on the budget I think will order two of those 10 blades rotor https://hobbyking.com/en_us/dps-series-64mm-edf-10-blade-replacement-impeller.html and limits the max end point of the throttle from 100% to 80% and adjusting the motor curve for a good transition. ...a 60mm CPU cooling fan will be my last option:rolleyes:
