Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can find a prop adaptor for a 36-48 700 KV electric motor? It has 4 holes. I have tried several avenues without success. It is for a J-3 Piper cub using a 12X9 prop. The wingspan of the plane is 55" and nose to tail is 40".

Thanks in advance.

If it was on the web, try at the hobby shop where you have buy the models, and look in the spare parts section:)

Unfortunately it is not on the web site in the parts section of Banggood. I see that the same plane is for sale on the Hobby King web site with no indication of the maker of the motor and I also see that I am not the only one that has bent the adaptor. Another person has had the same trouble in locating the part.

Ted's hobby was the first place I tried with no results. Peter could not locate the part and had no suggestions as to where I should try next. Probably because I purchassed the plane from Banggood in China. I brought the motor and the damaged adaptor to Distribution Modelist in Laval and Michel looked long and hard on the web but again could not locate the part. The only thing I may have to do is invest in another motor that will fit the engine compartment. Otherwise the plane will remain on the ground.

Thanks Michel! I will try if I can figure out how to do it as I am better at flying than on the computer.
