Help for newbie. I recently finished 3d printing a WW2 SpitfireMkXVI from 3d Labprint and will need some help to fly it. I was down by club this morning and spoke with Michael Jenkins who was very helpful. The plane seems to be in good flying condition but I'm afraid I don't have enough experience to fly it myself and would appreciate any tips and help. If anyone is interested or has experience and would like to fly it for me please contact. Plane wingspan is 973 mm and tackoff weight is 840g. I can forward any other technical details.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply, I'm expecting some crashes, I took the precaution of making multiple copies. Cost of material is cheap with investment being time (about 2 full days to print entire plane) My only concern is losing motor, battery etc., in bushes. If anyone is interested here is link https://3dlabprint.com/index.php

Nice work. Two questions...did the battery hatch allow the displacement of the battery , to play with the CG, I like war birds nose heavy about 3 degres. Bring your model at the club during the week between 10am to 2pm we will need a very calm day...as 10kh max

Thanks, for offer...

Update...Saturday I was at club and meet Andy and Darren (not sure). Anyway both were very helpful. We managed to fine tune and adjust plane to a point where we were ready to attempt a first flight until we check full throttle, at which point ESC caught fire. I purchased new ESC at Ted's but now looks like motor may be fried.

Did the motor was flipping left and right... I don't know how many cell you are using in the model but by default, the E-flite 10 amp are set for 2 cell, but you could program the ESC for 3cell fallowing the manual
