Ordering lipos from Hobbyking

Has anyone ordered lipos from Hobbyking recently? It seems they only ship through Fedex Express. Does Fedex end up charging you excessive brokerage fees etc?

I got 2 lipo orders a few weeks ago:
One from the US warehouse came with UPS and no additional fee. It took one week.
The second one came from the international warehouse with Fedex and it cost about 18$ extra. The package arrived in 2 days! The bill came about 2 weeks later.
A 3rd order had no lipo and came by standard mail with no extra fee. It took about 4 weeks.

Fedex will charge between $15 and $20 more depending on the size of the order.
UPS now also ship LIPOs and they aslo charge around $20 but it will take a week. FEDEX two days.
