First time I`ve ever ordered anything from Hobby King. I just received an order of several things including propellors , battery packs, standard servos, glow plug igniter and several other items. I have been using a Hitec Aurora transmitter and Hitec receivers for the last three years without any problems. I wanted more receivers and noticed that HobbyKing`s FrSKY Delta 8 receiver was compatible. At a third the price of the Hitec receiver, I ordered two. My question. Assuming that the receivers bind to the transmitter and that I am satisfied with a range check, can I expect reliable service from them?

OK so far. Binding to transmitter and setting failsafe worked well. Range test and flight may not happen before spring. Have a good xmas and all the best for 2016.

I have been using FrSky rx without any glitches. RC Flyer magazine
did have a review on compatible receivers from Futaba, JR and
some other manufacturers and the result was FrSky rx had a
greater reception range. It was also mentionned for that reason,
it was becoming a favourite for FPV users.
If I come across that RC Flyer issue, I will let you know.
