Looks like it simply fell. I would bet a wire from battery disconnected. I hate all these videos that draw attention to potential danger of the hobby. They give ammunition to people who would limit our activities through legislation.

From the video you can see it fell hard, I'll say loss of power that was a big X-8 too heavy machine.

The company operating the drone issued a statement that they believe there was radio interference and that, in the interest of safety, their pilot deliberately crashed it.
Personally, I still think it was a mechanical malfunction of some kind.

Or maybe lipo and the cold condition. ..it did not last as long as they planned...I've crashed a plane because of a slow responding lipo ...the charge was 80 prcent. ..yet it would not give juice. ..telemetry gave good values
