The military "AWACS" version was the EC-121 Warning Star. Very beautiful.

It brings back memories.
I flew on it , Montreal to Paris on the jump seat in the cockpit. (I was 12 years old)

I also have memories of flying in a Super Connie. It was the first plane ride I ever had, I was 9 years old and the flight was New York to Montreal. I was curious to see what an airplane toilet looked like so I asked the stewardess I had to go, although I didn't really have to. I remember she was the picture perfect stewardess of the 1950's. When I stepped into the toilet at the back of the aircraft on the starboard side, I was amazed to see from the porthole the egg-shaped side rudder. It was the longest non-pee I ever had in my life. Maybe Antoine and me should send David tiny pictures of us as wide eyed kids which he can post behind the cockpit window and in the last porthole at the back of the plane.:D

BTW yours look very good why are you having it repainted, to change the scheme?

Paint quality and the way that finished, I decided to repaint from the beginning same color scheme.

I think these engines sound the most scale(but loud) I've heard. They would sound great in the Connie hey David;)

Kevin its over my budget, I will install 4 x DLE 35R or EME 35 $1400
Landing gear for my cony cost me $1750USD
22 MG Servos $1600
Power system For large scale its over $800 USD and more!!!

I will do my Best to fly the Plane next Year:confused:

No David they are not Moki but Armin DeVries 4x Vt 42 4T, pricier(1000 CDN?) then the DLE but sounds great.
