Yes I'm sure David.
I think Canso & Catalina are the same? Canso is a town in Nova Scotia.
Captain Stan Tucker flew some of those.

I looked it up, Catalina has no landing gear, a flying boat where as the Canso has retracts.

I believe that some Canso if not all were built in Ville St-Laurent in the building that is now Bombardier.

The Canso was built in Saint Laurent by Canadian Vickers. Consolidated Aircraft which later became General Dynamics had a tie in with Vickers which later acquired all of Vickers holdings in Canada. My late Dad worked on the wartime production line. Most of the aircraft at the time were built for the US forces.
