Well just got my new Bigfoot today.
Very expensive because the girl made a mistake and send it on my Purolator account EXPRESS instead of GROUND. I don't have the final price yet but I did a trial run this morning and almost fell down, 427$ instead of 81$
Had a hard time trying to reach Lorne but finally did. He says they are very busy these days working about 15 hours a day, that is is other company Pro Pound he was getting fishes in.
Anyway he is a real gentlemen and said whatever the difference is he will give me store credit for part or whatever at his cost.
So here's a new build thread, but déjà vue.

Congrats, but go after Purolator, they are notorious of making mistakes.

I'm waiting to get our monthly bill so I can see the damage. The shipment missed a connection in Edmonton and another one in Mirabel so I will surely be able to reduce the price. But in the end it's Lorne who is paying the difference in a way.
I don't really need anything else right now but we'll see, maybe if someone else need something I can order it and you'll get it at cost.

Yikes! Just imagine what it would cost for one of David's giant planes if it went express.

Well just opened it up yesterday. Took me a long time just to cut up the 2 big boxes to put them in the recycling.
I took out the fuse from the wrapper and of course like the first one, one former is cracked but easier to reach and fix, oh yes also the latch for the door was unglued and inside the fuse in the back, but on the bright side the top(roof) hatch is better installed so it opens up more.
Just got my Puro bill and it's 304.95$, so I called them up to get a credit for the 2 missed connections I should get an email tomorrow, I think it's going to be a 35.70$ credit.

Well you wont believe it but it is a $269.25 credit so in fact it cost me $35.70 which is less then the first time:D
I thought that was what she told me be had to get the official email before I believed it.
BTW I installed the tail yesterday, rudder and empennage.

Well it's ready to fly. Did the wing braces and the stickers and put the sealing tape on the ailerons and flaps. Didn't do the lights yet I need some Dean connectors. So just need good weather now:mad:

Did the maiden today, was a perfect day. It was uneventful . Tried a regular take off and landing, then tried 45° flap take off and landing and last did a 80° flap take off I did 45° on landing.
I need to adjust the flap they are not quite even when I turn with them down it really pulls to one side. When I did the set-up I did one wing at a time with an angle degree gauge 3DHS provides.

It maybe the airfoil of the flaps or the wing. Or maybe the plane has a shoe of different size on each LG.
