Good analysis of the errors which seem to me to be mostly related to ego and pride. The lesson is- when you graduate to a new type of aircraft, accept help from those with more experience. BTW- the plane after the crash did not look as bad as many of the planes that I and others have crashed and then repaired. I hope that someone picked up the pieces and spent the time to get it back in the air again.

Good lesson for all of us. We are in a club and one of the reason to have a club is to help out each other. We all have different levels of experience in several field of knowledge.
That guy can only blame himself. With all the help offered if he had accepted he'd still have his airplane intact and also his ego.

We'll put,
Ego in the cockpit or rc transmitter usually doesn't end well.
Give the controls to more experienced hands and learn from it.
