Hi guys, once again I look forward to some of the best advice from this forum. I have a mentor T-34 from eflite with the stock power25 motor and esc. I want to upgrade to 4s batteries. I have an Align rce-bl70g esc sitting here doing nothing and a bunch of 4s batteries I want to use (2200mah-40c).
What would be a good motor to use, other than the power 32.?

Thanking you in advance
Lorne.

Hi Lorne,

You don't need a new motor, you can run your existing power 25 (870kV) on 4s using an 11x8 APC electric prop. You will need to use your Align 70 amp esc. Remember to adjust your CG to accommodate the 4s batteries.

I also noticed that the stock esc can handle 4s batteries. If for some reason it's better for me to use the Align 70 then I will.

The correct method would be to verify your current (amps) on the 4s setup using a wattmeter, but if you choose to skip this step, just use the 70 amp esc to be sure you have headroom.

Wimac est toujours un excellent RC club. Mais mes deux best season was the summer 2010 and the 2011:)
