A treed plane! Tarek is becoming the "2012 Senior Rescuer". He brought my Habu down (possibly the same tree) from a very high perch.
Some members want to name him "The Lebanese Mountain Goat" because of the way he climbs trees.

Nice Pics Paul, thanks
You have a pretty good zoom.
Its not too bad its a 10x but because of the sky condition it was hard to have a clear focus.
Was the copter found?

Was the copter found?
Yes two guys walking their dogs and snowshoeing found it two fields to the east where we saw it go down. Michel D. Heard them and yelled to them if they found a heli?
Damage was one leg.

Flying a white dogfighter on a snowy day sure shows confidence that you can get it back down on the runway!

Thanks for the pics. Paul
After examing the video on the copter I found that I didn't trust the view on my googles. At one point I saw the no fly zone bush I decided to fly tawards it but for a reason I started looking for the shak it seems I was high and far which caused disorintion. I got to far that I lost the googles signal it's then when I took the googles out and started looking for the copter but it was to late.
Thanks for the Michael J. and Michel D for helping to find the copter.
Anyways it was a nice adventure will post the videos soon

Um, pardon my ignorance because I hang up my wings in winter, but is the access road cleared? That's one long stretch to clear!

That must be VERY expensive?! C'est quoi 1000 pieds et plus? Pickup avec pelle, tracteur avec souffleur?
Just checked Google maps, it's 450 metres.

C'a doit faire partie des frais gazon/neige. Quelle super organisation:cool:

Les frais pour la neige sont de 400$ par hiver, mais il est possible qu'on soit les derniers sur sa liste, juste après le cimetière.
De toute évidence c'est de l'argent bien placée.:D

400$ is a bloody bargain - I am amazed. It costs that much for short entrances to houses, and then some. 450 meters of snow removal!

As Ronald points out, we aren't high on the priority list for removal - we sure won't be cleared by 6am after an overnight snowfall. Allows us to get the bargain rate, but if you have far to travel, always best to check the forums after a snowfall to see if the road has been cleared.

Yes Andre the road is plowed, also the table area and two pilot stations are cleared of snow.
