Dear Radio Control flyers:

WIMAC (West Island Model Aeronautics Association) is pleased to invite you to his annual Funfly on Saturday September 1st.

Planes, helicopters and jets flying all day! (and we hope, no crashes)

There will be free corn on the cob, hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks.

You can also try your hand at flying our trainer plane, children welcome.

If the weather does not smile on us on Saturday it will be moved to Sunday. Keep up to date on announcements on our Web site www.wimac.ca

We are the only flying Club in the Island of Montreal and have been practicing our hobby for more than 40 years.

We will be pleased to have your company. Don’t miss it!

C'est une journée de vols d'aéronefs téléguidés de tout genre, avions, hélicoptères et jets.

Nous aurons du blé d'inde, des hot-dogs, des hamburgers et des sodas pour le lunch.

Ceux qui le désirent pourront piloter notre avion de style novice avec l'aide d'un instructeur.

Le Fun Fly 2012 est un grade réussite. Un grand merci a tous qui ont fait possible ca. L’atmosphère, les gens, les avions, la bouffe, tout a était une grade réussite.

J’ai profité d’occasion pour sorti, pour la première fois dans la monde, mon dernier avion: Astro-Hog. Un model qui a modifie l’histoire de vol télécommandé. C’est le premier model avec l’aile en bas et avec des ailerons.

Sorry I missed it. I guess my absence made it possible for someone else to win the spot-landing competition, however, in the immortal words of the Governator, "I'll be back".
It seems that every few years, one or two guys arrive and really step up to help out. Sempai-MJ (and crew)- You da man!

Thanks to you Mike for getting this all together!! WOW what a neat day. Everybody had such great planes and it was a great day to fly. As for that fast plane I never new something could go by so fast!! A good lot to take in and I got my flights in as a novice too!!.. BTW first take off at the field today. Alberto Kicks ass!!:)
