Night flying Fun

Last night I decided to Fly my T-Rex500 esp with full lights and also my PK T-28 with full lights at my club in full darkness.:D
It was fantastic! no problem at all except for the land that was more of a challenge since I could not see the ground.:eek:

The Heli I flew but not in full darkness but still dark enough.
The videos are bright but thats the camera , not shure why because when flying the T28 I could not see the plane and on the video you can see it well.

Thats what I want to do but the Xmas lights are not out yet.
I want to use 2 strips of white lights and plug it in my NOMA power station with an extention.
Then I would put my contour camera on the plane and shoot some approaches :D

This plane is a single purpose plane, towing gliders, so every thing is in functionality and 0% on esthetics. But I think it still look cool:cool:

Another evening and night flying session yesterday :D
I added strobe lights on the T-28 , they were very visible too even in sunlight. :D
Last flight was at 9PM with mosquitos :eek:

I use the waterproof LED strips from Hobby King

THey are 12v and can be cut at every 3 LED so I have 3 Green and 3 RED plugged in dirrect to my 3s1p.
For the Landing lights its also from Hobby King

This one I plug direct in the receiver . The module can give you steady landing lights or slow pulse flash or strobe flash.
I wanted to get more real strobes too but they are backorder.

Those lights are strong and can be seen on a cloudy day too.
The Led strips are also visible in sunlight.

I dont think I will fly it at night on the water , plus the beach area is close after sunset.

But I might try it during winter in open fields near my place.:D
