450 size heli

I was looking for some advice, I own a Trex 550e ver 2 , but I was looking to buy something smaller to play around with out in the country, I was thinking about getting a used trex 450, but a couple people tell me I will regret it , because it is too small to fly out doors unless there is 0 wind..any sugestions would help, or should I go for a 500 size electric?

Anything would be a challenge to fly today, but I fly a 450 and its great outdoor even in 20-30k winds and it's cheap to fix.
