Hi guys, Merry Christmas to all and a Healthy and Happy New Years. I dropped in on Ted's this morning and picked up my Xmas present, a Focke Wolf 190 by Troy Built models. which I will be installing my FPE 40cc with my down and lock electric retracts. I had this plane back in the late 60's and I loved the way it flew. Also when I was at Ted's which was very busy, Richard, was buying some stuff. Sorry I did not get a chance to talk to you more, but the person I was talking to, I had not seen for more than 25 years.
So this is my winter project, should be fun. Looking forward to Spring.

No need for skis yet. I flew my hotliner glider yesterday at the RR club. The big surprise was the arrival of 7 gas turbine jets with both sport and some nice scale examples. Most of them flew until the rain started at 12.30 so we packed up for the day. It was a typical winter's day: 6C, moderate winds and low grey clouds, it felt very damp and cold. I would much prefer lower temperatures and some sunshine.

Just in case some people are confused, the green stuff on the ground is called grass. LoL

I'm enjoying learning to fly a little heli ... that's right, a heli! A Blade mcpx v2 in my garage ... very practical ... Even my son is into it ... Helps him fly the heli better in his video games!
