Hi,
Ive been having fun with flying RC for 3 years. I bought a used Blade MCX to start with. I already had RC buggies in the past, I recently (4 years ago, loll) got a 1/10 4WD Electric buggy. I also had fun with a USB controller on flying RC simulator, thats what convinced me to try planes.
Now I have:
- A Spektrum DX6i, because I like the BNF models
- A Blade MSR helicopter, I like playing inside with it
- A micro J-3 Cub plane, I fly it very easily, can do loops
- A micro P-51 plane, one flight ripped the tail top, fixed but never tried again
I am thinking of getting a bigger electric plane this summer, not 100% sure yet which model and if ailerons or not. For the helicopter, maybe a Blade 120SR to be able to fly in little winds, I am not ready to spend yet on a big collective pitch, I will get Phoenix simulator first and practice with my DX6i.
I will get my MAAC license latest before spring. I was wondering what is your indoor flying spot for this winter, is it big enough to fly micro planes? When I get a bigger plane, I will stop by and see your location, the club seems to be well organized and interesting to join.
Thank you
