I was wondering if anyone has any advice on the Pulse XT, the .60 size or .125 size from Hangar 9.. I would like to buy one or the other and set it up electric... I was also thinking about the 125 size Funtana...Let me know what you think about these planes?

The Funtana 125 would fly circles around the Pulse, once upon a time (ok maybe quite a long time ago) the Funtanas had the best 3D wing on the market. The Funtana has very few bad traits, I flew Tarek's Funtana X 50 and it flew amazingly well for what it was. The 125 will fly even better, it will slow to a crawl on landing, and inverted flight is exceptional given that the plane is properly trimmed. The Pulse flies decent as well, but has a lot of dihedral, which makes it more of a sport plane, gets boring fast!

Thanks Richard, but you know I just started out this yr..Is the Funtana going to be too much plane for me, or if bring down the throws it wont be too bad to manage?..I do already have a Pulse Xt, the .25..I guess what I do like about it is the slow landings, but a couple people have spoken highly about the Funtana

Surely the Funtana can be toned down to fly in manner suitable for your flying ability. It is a good overall plane with exceptional flight manners. Many flyers at Wimac have flown Tarek's Funtana X50 and can attest to its good manners. You will not be disappointed. :)

Yeah the Funtana flys great, I flew team Tarek's and it handles really well.

The Futana 125 is a beaut and flies great. However I suggest that you stick to planes in the 5 to 7 pound range for now (Funtana 50 or others) and once you are confident with an aerobatic plane then go to the 125 or other similar size (8 to 12 pounds) .

I am sure, Funtana 125 is way better than pulse XT
