Hi guys, as much as I love the heli's I would love to try my hand at planes. I saw the XPD-8 and I know I will need to add electronics. I have the batteries, I have a bunch of eflite servos s75h and i have an ar6100e receiver lying around, I think all I am missing is the esc. Will the servos, receiver work on this kind of plane? and what kind of esc do I need ? I use a DX7 transmitter.
Thanks in advance.

If you are referring to the Electrifly XPD-8, that model has been discontinued. If you happen to find one gathering dust in a hobby shop, you will need a 25 amp ESC. Your S75H servos will work as well as your AR6100e (eventhough it is rated as a parkflyer receiver, the XPD-8 can be viewed as such). If you've never flown an airplane before, best to start with the club trainer with the help of an instructor as the XPD-8 is not exactly a beginner airplane. Best of luck.

Thank you so much for the quick reply. It definitly has been sitting around but never used. I figured it would be cheap and quick to get up and running.
