flying on floats

Hello guys,

I finally received my floats for my 40 size trainer. Is anybody going to fly soon on floats? I would like some company, it should be more fun.

Let me know who would be willing to go flying on floats somewhere...

There is a possibility that I go on friday morning here in Ile-Bizard because in late afternoon or evening too many people there.

How does it work? what happens if there is a dead stick and the plane lands far?

They have a boat on hand to retrieve the planes. It is a great event, I hope to make it, if my eye sight comes back. I suggest anyone who has a set of floats to make this even. Good location and lots of fun. If I remember, the entry fee includes a chicken dinner.,

Yup, this is sad Bob , I know you love to fly the Cub at the Float Fly.
I hope my eyes will be ok too saturday.
Today they were ok until about 1pm then pressure build up and not he best for a couple hours after.
