Guys, I have a 6S lipo that has lost one cell. It will on;y read 5 cells.
I want to use it as a 5S but don't know crap of how to disconnect properly the bad cell let alone how to detect it.
Is anyone with the required skills available to do this on his off time, no rush or explain to me how to do it ?
I could bring it at the club. I will try to be there this Sunday if weather is good.
BTW, how can you guys walk all this distance with your equipment ?
I can't believe I am willing to do this. It must be the hibernation ..
Mario, I can do that for you. I will try to be there on Sunday, if the weather is good.

Thanks Mick. I will bring it if I come but that's the plan so far if weather sticks as it shows now.
Larry should be coming too.
Too bad I will not have my planes with me yet. One on the way and the other I will have tomorrow but will not be ready yet.
I am venturing into something else this summer to keep it interesting.

I am getting into large EDF jets.
In the mail I have the Mig-29 and tomorrow I am getting from someone in Ottawa who is bringing it to me NIB the F-14.
This is the promotional video of the Mig-29.
I have read through the threads in RCgroups everything about these jets and know the reputation of Bananahobby is questionable when it comes to service but also I am aware what to expect from the RTF models and what to look for .
I just find they look awesome and with some care and later on maybe upgrades to the power systems they can be a lot of fun. I just love the military look of these and now that they are getting bigger and bigger, it is interesting.

Wow. Are you going to trade in your 9ch for a 12X so that you can control all the functions?

lol, I think I will upgrade later this summer maybe my TX.
Xtreme power systems is coming out with a 16ch TX with full telemetry, faster response etc, with pretty much all the bling you could possibly need and all for a price of 250 bucks.
The look is almost like the 9303 with a rotary button like futaba instead of the scroller the jr uses, it will be open code so you can program your own functions and look in the screen if you are up to it and a whole bunch of other stuff.
They have great quality products and they are venturing into this now.
They have shown the TX in a lot of shows and they have only had positive responses, and all the pros that tried it, they like the feeling of it.
So I will be looking for this later this year and I might change. I wanted to get a second TX as a backup at some point but hate the feeling of everything under 9 ch out there. And I can't justify the price of the 12x that jr offers. Futaba I can't stand the screen look and spacing of the gimbals. This might just do it for me. You can't beat it for 250 buck.
For now I will stick to the plane without the parachutes and smoke bombs. lol
Although if this thing survives and all goes well, I would like to get a pair of smoke bombs for the funfly.:D
