Après avoir changé d'avis plusieur fois durant la semaine, j'ai finalement été a cet évènement de biplan samedi à Farmington, Connecticut. 1140km aller-retour dans la journée...
Il y avait beaucoup de vent et généralement à 90deg de la piste. Ca a causé plusieur incidents à l'attérissage. Comme il n'y avait pas beaucoup de pilote qui voulaient se risquer, j'en ai profité et fait 6 vols avec le Fokker sans problème. Il fallait juste travailler fort pour attérir
Il y avait beaucoup de beaux avions et la plupart était bien piloté.
J'ai aussi fait quelque vols avec un foamie biplan. Le premier vol ne c'est pas bien terminé puisque le vent l'a carrément écrabouillé sur la cloture en le faisant redéccoler après l'atterissage. Je l'ai réparé et fait 2 autre vols.

After changing my mind many time during the week, I finaly went to Farmington, Connecticut for the Big Biplan Bash on saturday. 1140 km round trip in the day...
It was very windy,mostly 90 degree from the runway and it caused many incidents on landing. Since not many pilots wanted to risk their planes, I flew a lot more than expected so I didn't take many pictures. I flew my 1/4 scale Fokker 6 times and I was alone in the sky most of the time so I was having fun. The landing were stressful but I also did a few touch and goes. These are really cool to do with big bipes.
There were many very nice airplanes and most were well flown.
I also had a few flights with a foamie bipe but the first flight didn't end well. After landing, the wind picked up the plane and smatshed it on the fince. It was bad but I fixed it and had 2 more flights.
