Anybody see the amazing footage from an airshow in Argentina today which did not result in any fatalities? I just saw it on CTV news. Haven't looked for the link yet but it should be easy to find.

Yeah, the wing snapped off the Rans S-9 Chaos during a negative G push. The ballistic parachute attached to the plane saved his life!

Xavier, I think you flew in that field in the city of Santa Fe.
By the way Xavier: did you qualify for F3A?

It could well be the same airfield that was used for the F3A championship in 2007.
The qualification for the 2011 F3A event is next week on September 4th & 5th in Victoria, BC. I belive I have a chance but all the other guys do too. It won't be easy and I will be very desapointed if I miss it again. We'll see. I will try to post news during my trip there starting next Wednesday.
