You can find WIMAC airplane and heli fields for the Phoenix RC Flight sim here (http://cid-2b4dc8f6bd223f57.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/WIMAC%20Files%20For%20PhoenixRC).
Basically the same images I used for ClearView.
The airplane field has collision volumes for the shelter, the pilot safety fences, and the windsock pole.
The heli field has collision volumes for the tree line ahead of the pilot station. The grey pallet just to the left of the pilot station is raised by a couple of inches so you can try landing on it.
Unzip the files into your \Program files\PhoenixRC\Resources\Environments directory.
I used the "PhoenxRC Creator" program you can download from the Phoenix web site. Takes some time to get it right, but not bad after you play for a while.
I'd rather be flying, but with the wind today I had to find something inside to keep me busy.
Give them a try and let me know if you have any problems.

I don't have G4 so can't do all that much, but if you want to try it yourself and need the original Panorama image to work from, look in the sub-directories of this location (http://cid-2b4dc8f6bd223f57.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/Flight%20Sim%20Files%20for%20WIMAC). If they ask for anything special like "cube maps" let me know and I will see if I can create them for you.

I was able to import the pano into G3.5 with no problems and looks Excelent.
I think it's all in the pano as I tried with a pano that I created and didn't get the instent success I did this time.
Excelent work Andrew:D:D:D
Now I just need to do the collision stuff as I don't think your version is compatable.

Paul,
You should be able to get the airplane panorama as the jpg file here (http://cid-2b4dc8f6bd223f57.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/Flight%20Sim%20Files%20for%20WIMAC/Airplane/Summer). And the helicopter panorama as the jpg here (http://cid-2b4dc8f6bd223f57.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/Flight%20Sim%20Files%20for%20WIMAC/Helicopter/Fall).

Ok I got the plane pano from Xavier but now I just figured it out , it was a cookie problem to get the page to work for me.
Its working great in G4, thanks Andrew :D
Paul, now you have it figured out for G4 can you give a step by step guide for computer idiots like me.

Mick sorry for the late reply I was at work.
Here is a snapshot.
place the panoramic image in a folder of your choice and then start the G$ sim. Next go into the simulator menu, select import and select import panorama and bingo it will convert and put you there automaticly. :D
Fantastic it works!!! Thanks for the help Paul and well done Andrew doing the hard work to create the images. It is really cool flying at somewhere you know. Making an approach down through the gap in the trees is so easy, so need to worry about those pesky branches.
Excellent.
So on a wet, cold day like today we can still fly at WIMAC but there are no mates to fly with and chat to so what about multi-player mode? A step too far into the geeky world of on-line computer games?

Not Sure never did this before. I think if you select multiplayer then join you can do a search for servers on the internet. Once you see WIMAC it should bring you in.. I guess?
I tried that but got a message " no servers found"
The alternative is that you send me a PM with your IP address and port, if you know them.
Jimmy and I managed to establish a connection but found that G3.5 and G4 are not compatible enough to run a multi-player session.

Andrew-
I stumbled across this by accident - I wish I had seen it earlier. Awesome, thanks.
Given any thought to adding it to Phoenix's website of "user created sites"?

It has been a while, but I only just went to check for updates and saw the bad news:
