Big turnout, 30 MAAC members showed up from many different clubs, some as far as Asbestos, which is also in our zone. Many things discussed, one which I am going to try to reduce fuselage noise, is to insulate the cowling. Lots of the sounds come from the cowling. It acts like a drum. It has been done on home builts and from what was said at the meeting, a big difference in the noise level. I think from WIMAC there were 5 members. MRCC, Ille Perrot, Lafayette, Napierreville, were some of the clubs represented.

Interesting. Also you can get the 90degree carb stack. The intake is in the fuse and that reduces noise also.

Yep nice meeting well I got there at 11:15 everyone was coming out. Never got the email and up until lunch friday didn't see the time change.<<
