Does anyone know where the best place is to get prop bolts for a DA100 ... preferably in the Montreal area. The ones in my engine seem to be metric:

length = 5.5 cm long
diameter = 5.0 mm
thread pitch = 12.5 threads per cm.

I believe these places have metrics:

Attaches Richard Inc (Les)
1409, Rue Bergar,
Laval, QC H7L 4Z7
450-975-4554

Dematec Distributions Inc (Les)
6505, boulevard Henri-Bourassa Ouest,
Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1C8
514-333-3020

And the winner is ...

Dematec Distributions Inc (Les)
6505, boulevard Henri-Bourassa Ouest,
Saint-Laurent, QC H4R 1C8
514-333-3020

The exact bolts with same quality of steel ... $55 for a box of 100 ... now I can change them every year or so to be safe. If anyone needs some let me know ... I have a a few extras!

Sure, I could use some, don't think the bolts that came with my DLE-111 will survive forever, they feel lightweight...

Dwight,

Is it considered good practice to replace the bolts regularly due to fatigue?

It makes sense to me to replace the bolts regularly ... mine lasted about 450 flights + whatever the previous owners put on it. There are some reports of bolts breaking due to an overheated hub melting a composite prop slightly and loosening the bolts but this seems to be only on a 3W 106. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4186247/mpage_1/printable.htm
