1: Introduction of Technical Information Seminars
As an innovation to this year’s AZM we will be hosting , during the morning, two technical information seminars including practical demonstrations on the following topics:
1.1 Electronic Circuitry: By Eric Girard Eng. 10:00 -10.45 AM
In this 45 minute session. Eric will explain techniques on how to make or trouble shoot simple electronic circuits including LED lights, buzzers, meters, switches, etc. Suggestions and practical demonstrations on soldering, crimping, heat shrinking will help to demystify these often challenging subjects. A question and answer session at the last part of the seminar will allow you to receive guidance on your special needs.
1.2 Heat Shrink Covering : By Paul Burrage 11:00- 11:45 AM
In this 45 minute session. Paul will explain techniques on how to obtain the best results when working with heat shrink materials such as Monocote, Ultracote , Clearcote etc which we use to finish our models. Topics such as measuring, tacking, concave and convex curves, temperature settings on your irons or heat guns will be covered. In addition, Paul will discuss trim applications. A practical demonstration before your eyes will show you how to obtain great results with our models. A question and answer session at the last part of the seminar will allow you to receive guidance on your special needs.
