Michael asked how the DA50 engine was installed in my Hanger 9 Extra 260, so here it is.
Tank is rotated on its side to give more space for the throttle servo and pushrod.
Choke servo is below the throttle servo, but I wouldn't do this again. I would go for a manual choke with a pushrod accessible through the front of the cowl.

just curious... why do u prefer the manual choke???
The choke rarely needs to be used, usually first time starting during the day.
It adds extra weight, and on the Hanger 9 Extra 260, the DA-50 is already slightly too large for this model.
However, if there is no ignition kill switch installed, then a choke servo is recommended incase something happens with the throttle servo linkage.

For my DA100 I find the choke servo is very useful for starting the cold engine because I can start it with the choke partly closed then slowly open it as the engine warms up.

I was able to set it up from what you told me over the phone.
We(Murat and I) did take your suggestion and put in the manual choke.
I prefer a manual myself, I had a choke servo in my 33% Yak but I changed it over to a manual, it took some innovative thinking but I got it. The DA-85 is not build the same as a 50 you can't run a pushrod out the front like a 50 there is a cage like stand-off in the way.
So on another note I got a trailer:) now I have to set-up the inside to carry my planes.
Thanks again Andrew
