In my humble opinion, cleaning up our site will be for the immediate benefit of our members, and by all means will impress any onlookers, if they could even be bothered.
As for saving the money for a new site, i will commit in a major way financially so that money being used immediately will not affect any decisions down the road.

I learned from Michael that I would have the privilege to be your instructor and help you with your take-off and landing at the WIMAC site.

It was quite sad to see the crash of your plane last weekend. I think that you had too many people around you, giving too many conflictual advises (and some of them very bad…). In the future, we should avoid having so many people around.

I mainly fly during the weekend, when the wind is good (forecast are rather windy for this weekend…).

I can send you a text message on your cell to let you know when I will be at the site. You can join me there if it is convenient for you.

Do you have a smaller plane (ideally some kind of trainer, like an Apprentice or other) that we could start with?

Hi Guys,
Really looking forward to meeting all of you. As a kid always wanted to build and fly RC.
Never got into it.
Did years of photography and am presently a judge with the Montreal Camera Club.
When discovering the DJI Phantom, I thought this would be a perfect way to combine my desire to fly and continue in a new field of photography (video).
I've been doing both now for a couple of months and am reasonably proficient.
I'm looking forward to gaining experience flying FPV and just making new friends with common interests.
