    Randy, MAAC provides insurance coverage and is required for the majority of RC clubs in Canada. In the event that you damage someones property (home or vehicle) or hurt someone or hurt yourself, and as long as you were following all MAAC and club (WIMAC) safety rules, you would only be liable for 500$ deductible.

    Note that MAAC insurance does not cover your model aircraft at all.
